BLACK RAIN IN MY EYES

Hessan is a Syrian poet and the father of four blind daughters. He hides the war from his kids. He calls the sound of bullets and explosions a celebration and dancing. Hessan has been invited to attend a poetry forum, but taking the girls out and confronting them with the effects of war is a challenge.

AMIR ATHAR SOHEILI, AMIR MASOUD SOHEILI

 

Amir Athar Soheili. Professional lecturer, writer, director. Apart from movies broadcast on TV he has directed several creative films that have been honored at international film festivals. He is currently a professor of film studies at Elmi-Karbordi University and the president of Simiya Film Company.

 

Amir Masoud Soheili. Iranian filmmaker, photographer and festival director. He studied cinema at the Indonesian Art Institute in Yogyakarta, Asian Film Academy and Busan Asian Film School. With his films “Blue-eyed boy” (2014) and “Elephantbird” (2019) he has won more than 40 awards from 300 world film festivals. He was a jury member of 9 film festivals. Masoud is the co-founder and creative director of Asia Peace Film Festival in Islamabad, Pakistan.
