BLESS ANDREY!

Andrey was born in Alaska and after years of travelling between the two countries he decided to move to Russia with only one goal - to quietly practice his favorite business of icon painting. Together with Andrei we will walk the path of creating an Old Believer icon and obtaining permission to live in Russia.

NIKOLAY BEM

 

Born in Yakutia in Neryungri in 1977. Lives in Krasnoyarsk. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation and the Guild of Non-Fiction Film and Television. Founder of the SiberiaDOC project, which influenced a whole generation of documentary filmmakers.
Nikolai Bem’s film "Ivanova Lestvitsa" (2022) was screened at "Vision du Reel" 2022 Official Competition and was awarded with "Best feature-length documentary" at the XVIII Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, "Best Documentary Film" at the Iranian International festival "Cinema verite". Short feature film “Snowdrop” (2016) was awarded at International film festival "Spirit of Fire” and International festival of Short Films LINCOLN (Argentina).
