THE GOOD DOCTOR

Taking part in a government-funded program Konstantin, a young paramedic, relocates to a remote Altai village. Living and treating patients there is quite a struggle – equipment and medications are in short supply. But Konstantin decides to stay anyway to try and rejuvenate the settlement.

SERGEY LUKIANCHENKO

Sergey Lukianchenko was born on 6 August 1994 in Zhukovskoye, Rostov Region. In 2012 he applied to the Rostov Basic Medical College. In 2016 he graduated and started working at an ambulance station in Rostov-on-Don as a paramedic. In 2022 he graduated from Saint Petersburg State Institute of Film and Television, A. Sokurov's workshop, with a degree in fiction films and documentaries directing and editing. He directed My Father's House (2019) and Heimkehr (2020).
