HOLY DILEMMA

After years of leading a double life, Robi, a Roman Catholic priest decides to take destiny in his own hands. The film follows the pain of the decision-making process, and a congregation that faces losing its shepherd and is therefore even prepared to go on compromise with a sacred commandment.

MÁRTON VÍZKELETY

Aged thirteen, he started taking black and white photos with an analogue camera. In 2007, he obtained his MA from the University of Theatre and Film Arts, Budapest, Hungary. As cinematographer, he filmed Keep Quiet, Ultra and Train to Adulthood. Holy Dilemma is his first feature documentary as a cinematographer and director.

JULIANNA UGRIN

EFA-nominated producer and founder in 2011 of Éclipse Film, focusing on creative documentaries for the Hungarian and international markets. She has produced A Woman Captured, Easy Lessons and The Next Guardian, screened, nominated and awarded at festivals including Sundance, IDFA, Locarno, Hot Docs and Sheffield.

In 2019 she was selected to Producers on the Move in Cannes. A EURODOC and an EAVE graduate, president of the Hungarian Documentary Association, founder of DAE and a member of the European Film Academy. Holy Dilemma is her first film as producer and director.
