SCENE BY SCENE

A family of circus performers, along with exotic animals, travel the snowy roads of Siberia. The work does not bring them fame or fortune, but the love for the circus keeps them going. The family takes every opportunity to perform, until the leading performer is diagnosed with an incurable illness.

ARTUR SOKOLOV

Artur Sokolov was born on 24 December 1989. He graduated from Moscow State Surikov Academy of Fine Arts (2012) and later studied filmmaking at the SiberiaDOC Workshop. He has been making documentaries as a cinematographer and director since 2014. In 2017 he became a member of the The Documentary Film and Television Guild. Artur also directed documentaries Moth (2019), Shards (2018), and Constitution Day (2017).
