After the 2017 London Bridge attack, Valeria Collina, a shocked mother, must come to terms with the loss of her son, who was a jihadist killed in the attack. In the aftermath of the tragedy, she struggles to find peace.

DAVIDE RIZZO

Davide Rizzo is an Italian director and producer. In 2004 he founds Elenfant Film, with which he realizes innovative works, focusing especially on human rights and collective memory. In 2017 he directs A western movie without horses, presented in Biografilm Festival in 2017. The same year he directs a short film, Anna & Bassam, part of the series 13.11, that he also produced, selected and awarded in many festivals worldwide.

MARZIA TOSCANO

Marzia Toscano is an Italian director. In 2017 she directs her first documentary A Western without Horses, written and directed together with Davide Rizzo, a film on the visionary filmmaker Mauro Mingardi. The screenplay was finalist at Premio Solinas 2012. The film, produced by Elenfant Film, Imago Orbis and Maxman Coop, had its theatrical release in October 2017.
